LEGEND HOBBY 86" SKYRAIDER SERIES ELECTRIC RETRACT WHEEL COMBO SET comes complete with 100 degree rotating main gear with functional oleo struts, tail retract, 4.5" Rubber Tires with Aluminum Hub Wheels and 2" Tail wheel. Features JP actuators and control module for a reliable and simple installation! These are specially designed for the entire series of LEGEND HOBBY 86" SKYRAIDERS. Both Single Seat A-1 and Dual Seat Wide Body AD-5/A-1E Skyraiders can utilize these gear as long as the model was purchased in 2022 and features the alloy metal mounting plates for the wing and fuselage which allow installation of either the Robart or JP electric retract frames. Easy way to note if you have a model that can use these gear are if it is an AD-5/A-1E they will fit and if it is an A-1 Skyraider but doesn't have traditional wooden mounting rails in the wing then these will fit with the adapter plates included with your model kit.
STRUTS UTILIZE THE FOLLOWING TIRE/WHEEL SIZES WHICH ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS RETRACT SET!
- Main Wheels/Tires are 4.50"
- Tail Wheel is 2"
Technical Note: You are advised to add threadlocker to each set screw on the entire retract mechanism and struts/wheels. This will ensure vibrations from your engine/motor do not allow the screws to vibrate loose. Failure to do so may cause your retract oleo strut, mechanism or wheel/axle to loosen causing damage to your model. Please ensure you take this simple precaution.
