This functional SPITFIRE tail unit STRUT/FORK was custom made for us by SIERRA PRECISION for use with the ESM 1/5 50cc SPITFIRE Model.
These units will fit to the Spitfire with the addition of two bulk heads in the rear of the ESM model ( drawings supplied with purchase). This fine piece of engineering is unequalled by any other manufacturer. Installation does require the modeler to make modifications by cutting and installing his/her own bulkheads and providing needed wood/adhesives. Not recommended for inexperienced modelers. This unit will easliy support your model very well on grass or paved runways. This heavy duty unit features scale-type operation , outline and will add much scale profile as found on the fullscale Warbird.
